This is a fantastic coffee shop run by knowledgeable and friendly staff and owner. It’s got a great menu, you can’t go wrong with any choice. The lychee matcha is delicious, the rotating selection has amazing choices, the pour overs are fantastic and it’s well-served with jasmine tea or sparkling water for palate cleansing between sips. The sweet potato biscuit is phenomenal, buttery, soft, and goes down well. My personal recommendation would be the banana oat milk cortatdo with their nutty coffee bean, it tastes like a banana bread latte it’s so good!!

Now I understand why this coffee lab has a perfect 5-star rating! From the moment we walked in, Meech, the owner, made us feel welcome. Her warm, genuine personality spills over to her baristas, creating a cozy atmosphere that instantly feels like home. We stopped by on a Monday just before closing (they're open until 2 PM), and even as a non-coffee drinker, I had plenty of options. I ordered the Beet Latte, made with beet, oat milk, and turmeric. It was incredibly smooth, beautifully vibrant, and surprisingly didn't have an overpowering beet flavor. My husband, a coffee enthusiast, loved his strong iced latte, and they even served it with a side of sparkling water—a thoughtful touch on a hot summer day. Moon Lab has only been open for six months, and I truly hope they thrive. What stood out most wasn't just the drinks—it was the sense of community. Because Meech is so personable, we naturally struck up conversations with another customer, making the café feel welcoming from the very beginning. We went there expecting a matcha bar, but it wasn't available that day, so we got the special coffee menu instead. The coffees (espresso tonic + salted banana coffee latte) came in cute 12oz cups and were great! 10/10, and we will definitely be back!

Artesanal, crisp, and knowledgeable specialty coffee. You need to know what you’re doing to call yourself a coffee LAB: the owner Mitchie and the crew at Moon Labs do. They feature a roaster of the month, pourover menu, deep-dive explanation of anything in the coffee world, and friendly and upbeat vibe. Great mix of flavor, education and hospitality. The owner previously won latte art competitions and opened the tasting room at 2026 Roaster of the Year (Driftaway). The shop is the best of craft and friendliness. And how’s the coffee? Drip coffee: I got a decaf medium roast pourover (secret menu) from Huila Colombia. Medium body. Primary notes of chocolate with a raspberry finish, and slight grapefruit aftertaste. Delicious. In the past I’ve got the drip coffee (solid dark roast). I got jealous looking at all the latte art: a cortado is on the horizon for me. Drip coffee score: 4.7/5. Everything else score: 4.4/5. Neat, cozy coffee shop. A few tables inside with a small coffee bar with a few more seats. Great coffee. They balance complimentary flavors well with the robust and true taste of well roasted coffee. I stopped by on my way out of New York and I would look forward to returning in the future.
